Best Practice Guidelines on Urban Protected Areas now Available

IUCN recently posted No. 22 in its Best Practice Protected Area Guidelines Series. The publication, Urban Protected Areas: Profiles and Best Practice Guidelines, can be accessed through the IUCN’s website or from the Urban Specialist Group’s website.

This section of the website promotes protected areas that demonstrate the triple bottom line of sustainable development; that is, sustained and inclusive economic growth, social development, and environmental protection.
